Modernization Requests/Estimates

 When modifications or additions are requested to an area that is not part of regular building maintenance or repairs needed to instructional equipment, a modernization work order request is required.

To request a modernization estimate, place a work order through Colleague. Once the work order is retrieved, it will be assigned to the appropriate trades to provide an estimate. All estimates are sent to the Budget Office for approval. The Budget Office will then forward the estimates to the appropriate department manager/division dean for signature approval and final processing.

All signed modernization approval forms must be signed and sent to the Facilities Operations office before any work can commence.

Modernization requests are handled by the Facilities Administrative Secretary for Columbia College, Modesto Junior College and Central Services. Please contact facilities at 209-575-6572 if you have questions regarding the modernization/estimate process.
