The Yosemite Community College District ("YCCD") maintains this site (www.yosemite.edu), constituent college websites (www.mjc.edu, www.gocolumbia.edu), and associated YCCD controlled web resources to inform and grant access to services, instructional content, events, and other offerings of interest provided by YCCD. In using this site, you agree to the terms and conditions listed below.

While YCCD takes reasonable steps to make sure that the information on the site is updated and accurate, YCCD makes no warranties about the accuracy of the information, assumes no responsibility for inaccuracies or mistakes in the information contained on the site, and reserves the right to make changes to the classes, schedules, offerings and services described on this site at any time without notice.

YCCD makes this website available for you to browse freely. However, you do so at your own risk. YCCD is not responsible or liable for damages of any kind (including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive) related to your use of the site.

The photographs or drawings/maps of people or places contained on the site are owned by YCCD and/or its constituent colleges, Modesto Junior College and Columbia College and are used with requisite authorization. YCCD assumes no responsibility for the content of any sites it links to and has not reviewed the content of such sites. Your access of those sites is at your own risk.

YCCD welcomes your feedback at various places on the site. However, any communication or other material you send to the site by email or other means, including your questions or comments will not be treated as confidential. And, YCCD or its affiliates may use any communication or other material you transmit to the site (and the ideas contained in the material) for any purpose, including reproducing, posting or publicizing such material or using the material for marketing purposes.

YCCD assumes no responsibility for any discussions, postings or transmissions on the site, even though YCCD may review such postings periodically. However, YCCD accepts no responsibility to review such material and denies any liability resulting from the content of such material, including but not limited to any mistakes, omissions, defamation, obscenity or dangers contained in the materials. In using this site, you are prohibited from transmitting any unlawful, dangerous, defamatory, obscene material or any material that could encourage unlawful activity.   • Upload files that contain viruses, corrupted files, or any other similar software or programs that may damage the operation of another's computer.
  • Conduct or forward surveys, contests, pyramid schemes or chain letters.
  • Download any file posted by another user of the service that you know, or reasonably should know, cannot be legally distributed in such manner.
  • Falsify or delete any author attributions, legal or other proper notices or proprietary designations or labels of the origin or source of software or other material contained in a file that is uploaded.
  • Restrict or inhibit any other user from using and enjoying the service.
  • Violate any code of conduct or other guidelines which may be applicable for any particular communication service.
  • Harvest or otherwise collect information about others, including e-mail addresses, without their consent.
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations.

YCCD reserves the right to delete, move, edit, refuse to post or take other appropriate action with respect to conduct which YCCD in its sole discretion deems objectionable or otherwise in violation of these Terms of Use.

YCCD’s websites are regularly monitored to ensure proper functionality and for security purposes. Use of YCCD’s websites constitutes consent to such monitoring. 

YCCD may change these terms of use periodically, so you should visit this page at regular intervals to ensure that you are aware of the most recent terms and conditions which apply to your use of this site.

If any portion of these Terms of Use are held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remainder of these Terms of Use shall remain in full force and effect to the extent permitted by law.
