GDPR/CCPA Privacy Notice

The purpose of the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") is to protect all European Union ("EU") citizens from privacy and data breaches by allowing citizens to maintain control of the personal data kept and processed by organizations.  The GDPR also protects the personal data of individuals, regardless of citizenry, in the EU. While the Yosemite Community College District ("YCCD") is located within the United States of America and has no business nexus within the European Union, we offer this GDPR notice for the convenience and assurance of our students and local community members who may also hold EU citizenship.

The purpose of the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") is to protect California citizens from privacy and data breaches by allowing state residents to maintain control of the personal data kept and processed by businesses. YCCD, as a publicly-funded institution of higher education, is not subject to the terms of the CCPA. However, for the convenience and assurance of our students and local community members, we offer this public notice.

YCCD is committed to safeguarding the privacy of personal data.
