The Yosemite Community College District ("YCCD") is not subject to the requirements
of the California Consumer Privacy Act/California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA/CPRA”)
as a public education institution. Cookie and privacy management features within YCCD's
website and associated websites are provided voluntarily and should not be construed
to be part of any effort to comply with the requirements of the CCPA/CPRA.

YCCD recognizes the importance of safeguarding the privacy of individual personal
information. We collect and retain personal information from individuals using our
website, and personal information (i.e., student data) from other sources that is
provided to us as authorized by applicable law.
This Statement describes YCCD's information management and privacy practices as required
by YCCD Board Policy 3310, YCCD Board Policy 3720, and other applicable laws and policies.

to, describes, or is capable of being associated with a particular individual.

personal information, including electronically collected personal information.

form used to collect personal information.

other than those specified in this policy, unless with the consent of the subject
of the information, or as authorized by law.
Allow individuals to review personal information and correct its accuracy or completeness.
Develop polices to protect and safeguard personal information collected and retained
by us or our agents, including policies that protect against the loss or destruction
and unauthorized access or disclosure of personal data. We use encryption software
to protect the security of an individual’s personal information during transmission
of such information through the YCCD information systems and websites.

type, domain names, access times and referring websites addresses.

Use Google Analytics to help understand how individuals interact with the website.
Individuals can choose not to have their data used by Google Analytics by downloading

issues and other functionality errors, on YCCD's website and other associated websites
operated by YCCD.
Use temporary session cookies on our website that disappear after individuals close
their browser. When visiting our website, a small piece of information called a cookie
is sent to the browser and used for analytics to improve our website experience. Individuals
