Yosemite Community College District requires that degrees from educational institutions
outside of the United States be evaluated for U.S. equivalency. The evaluation must
be performed by a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services
(NACES)*. You may access and choose an organization from their membership list at
naces.org. The evaluation must be a Detailed Report including course designations (lower and
upper division) in the report. This detailed report should meet most transcript requirements
for employment purposes. The applicant is responsible for all fees associated with
this service and for the submittal of the evaluation to the Human Resources office
at YCCD. This process allows applicants to meet the Minimum Qualifications of the
position they are applying for.
