Planning Department Overview:

The Planning Office administers all of the Measure E Bond Projects, Capital Outlay, Scheduled Maintenance, and Budget oversight for Operations and Planning. Working with architects, engineers and the Department of State Architect, the planning department forms a cohesive partnership for projects that meet all California regulations and the Field Act of 1939.

Measure E Bond Projects - Local Bond projects for the District, Modesto Junior College and Columbia College.

Capital Outlay - Are specific construction projects, such as land, utilities, roads, buildings, and equipment projects. Capital projects may also be thought of in terms of 'facilities systems'.

Scheduled Maintenance - Projects in this category, do not exceed $650,000 and are State matching funds provided for major repairs of buildings and equipment.
